TATLISU 2018

Tatlisu 2018

First event in Tatlisu presented us with one of the best organization untill now. Unfortunately, strong wind give the chance for 88 pilots from 18 countries to show their skills in one round only. As Friday started with strong wind, we spend the parawaiting time with profesional touristic giudes at some historical places. Saturday had strog wind again, this time with rain but we managed to do one round before sunset.Better weather forecast was for the last day but was wrong and second round started very late, so we couldn't finish.

The winner is Byung Chang Jeun (Sky paragliders Cima) from South Korea, the second place was taken by Jaka Gorenc (777 d-light) from Slovenia and third place was taken by Slobodan Maletic (Skywalk Mescal 4) from Serbia.

In the women's category, the famus pilot from Indonesia, Rika Wijayanti (Skywalk Mescal 4), took the first place; second and third place were taken by pilots from Czech Republic, Marketa Tomaskova (BGD Adam) and Veronika Culkova (BGD Adam). First three places in Team category: BGD Team, 777 Team and No name team.

How it was by eyes from profesional reporter you can see on link below.

This year we add Friday like mandatory training day and competition in the afternoon if weather permit. Registration will be always in Thursday evening and training will start in Friday morning. Don’t miss that cos it will be your responsibility. Due to bad experience from last year , many pilots registered and after our confirmation , they didn’t come and not cancel it before and we have more empty places. If you do same this year you will be punished with double entry fee next time. We have new data base and we will control it.

Registration and cancelation will be possible till one week before competition start. After that it will be not allowed. Take it this seriously and inform your friends who not understand English and not read this information. For the global rules read our page on NOTES & GUEDELINES . Seasson for PGAWC 2017 is over

Seasson for PGAWC 2017 is over

Final round for PGAWC was in Kobarid Slovenia. In beautiful site for flying , 88 pilots from 20 different countries  competed for winners. Very good organization and weather in two days allowed pilots to have good results in six rounds. Very tight scores didn’t recognize winners till the last pilot landed. Very exciting ending finally brought winners. Before last round, leader was female pilot from Indonesia Rika Wijayanty with respect of other pilots. But she didn’t endure pressure and experienced pilots shared first three places. First was Tomas Lednik from Czech republic , Second Goran Djurkovic from Serbia and third Elisa Manueke from Indonesia. In female rankings first was Marketa Tomaskova from Czech Republic, second Katie Lawrence from Great Britain and third Andriana Lis from Indonesia. For teams first is Team NO NAME from Serbia, second CZECH TEAM and third share GARUDA PRIMA 1 and BGD TEAM.

For this year all winners are from Indonesia because they followed all competitions and collected best scores from four events. Details you can see on result page. Hope so next year more pilots from different countries will follow all events and make better results for final scores.
